What’s The Use Of Just Knowing A Name?

What’s the use of merely knowing his name, Bach, when you‘ve never heard, enjoyed his works. Some of his works I've heard are unforgettable. I always will know, love, remember him when I hear these, though I might not remember his name or even not know his name.

And it’s the same with knowing Picasso, Leo Tolstoy, ... No use knowing them when you never saw, read, heard, enjoyed their works. Their works, your thoughts are the real things not their names, your name.
But today you could easily hear, see their works in You Tube or read them in a book.
